Massive shout out to the crew at Woodhill! We brought a group of 20 from our uni hall for a Saturday session. The ‘Resident Evil’ map was legendary. It’s a bit of a drive from the CBD, but totally worth it for the movie-set quality. Best way to blow off steam after mid-semester tests! – UoA Student

Organised a trip for our student society and it was seamless. We used the student vouchers we got on campus and the value was great. The marshals were absolute legends—shout out to Alex for keeping the games fast-paced. The ‘Tomb Raider’ pyramids are a must-see. – AUT Social Club

Elite experience. A bunch of us from the Engineering faculty headed out for some tactical bonding. The gear is top-tier; the M16 replicas felt way more realistic than the basic markers at other places. If you’re coming from the city, just make sure you carpool—the forest setting is epic.

Came here for a pre-season team bonding day. High energy, high adrenaline, and plenty of laughs. It’s a great way to see who has the best strategy under pressure. The marshals run a tight ship with safety, which we appreciated. Will definitely be making this an annual trip for the boys.

The ultimate group activity. We brought a mixed group of domestic and international students and everyone had a blast. It’s a great ‘ice-breaker’ because you have to talk and work together to win. The ‘Tropic Thunder’ map was our favourite—felt like we were in an actual movie!

Brought 10 mates from our trades course and it was all-out war. The staff were professional and the safety briefing was clear. We stayed for the full session and don’t forget to bring snacks to refuel. If you’re a student, look out for the group deals, they’re definitely the way to go.
